Give your Hilux the exhaust note it always deserved. The HKS LEGAMAX side-exit system is developed by HKS specifically for the toyota Hilux platform, and it brings genuine HKS acoustic engineering to the 2.8L 1GD-FTV.

Twin carbon-fibre tips. The paired ø94 carbon tailpipes are the visual signature of this system — a deep black weave finish that contrasts hard against the rear bumper and reads as pure aftermarket intent from twenty metres away. Carbon also means less weight hanging off the tail of the system compared with a heavy chrome tip.

Side-exit layout built for a pickup. Rather than routing everything out the back, the LEGAMAX exits at the side ahead of the rear wheel. Your tailgate and load bed stay completely unobstructed, hitch clearance is preserved, and the twin tips sit exactly where a lifted Revo on chunky tyres looks best. It’s a layout HKS designed around how these trucks are actually used.

SUS304 stainless throughout. The main system is built from SUS304 stainless steel — the grade HKS uses across its premium muffler range. It handles road salt, monsoon damp and constant heat cycling far better than mild steel, so the system stays clean-looking for years rather than seasons.

Specifications

Tuned sound, not just volume. HKS measured this system at 83.2 dB close-proximity versus 77.9 dB stock — a real, audible step up in presence without tipping into an antisocial drone. The chamber design is tuned so the note comes through cleanly instead of echoing or booming at cruising rpm, which matters a lot on long highway runs. The ø60 main pipe frees up flow over the restrictive factory system, helping turbo response through the mid-range.

Direct bolt-on. Supplied complete with main pipe, tail pipe, gaskets, ring gasket, bolts, nuts, washers and spring washers, mounting to the factory rubber stays. No cutting, no welding, no fabrication.
